I went to a horror film festival and mostly got the music stuck in my head. This was one attempt to work it out. Not majorly successful but maybe useful to someone. As ever, made with edirol orchestral on cubase.

This is another end credits piece i wrote for a short lived gaming podcast a decade ago. It's best usage is for something creepy or dark as it's. . Well, both actually. Kind of a continuation on the "world in chains" theme. Here the ghouls are getting ready to seep out through the cracks in the pavement and pay the world up above a ghoulish visit. Oh and don't forget fungus the bogeyman, my favourite raymond briggs character. Try guessing what modules i used. (hint: all but 3 are from makenoise).

Some creepy music i made in garageband for an intro for something called victors crypt!. It's basically a synth-melody played with a lot of reverb and some echo. Something i did for a thing called victors crypt. I did it in garageband using chords of strings as the main theme in the tune. Then i added more strings along with a beat i made before the chords and the rest came along. I think it would suit something exciting, creepy, thrilling. . . Or whatever you think. Theme scary siren :. Production step :i record a scream. I cut it and extract two different sounds from it. I change the pitch to get the sound more high-pitched. I also change the tempo to be more slow. I separate the track in two and invert the last part. With the enveloppe tool, i change some part of my track manually. I amplify the track. I also use the reverb effect and amplify the size of the room of 60%. I used the noise reduction. At the end i fade out. I used the noise reduction. Description :this sound look like a siren or an alarm. Because the sound is high-pitched, it award an horrific aspect to the track. For me this siren can take place in an old and creepy factory. In some aspect, there is some metallic noise in this sound. The no-regularity of the siren also participate to this strangeness feeling. Typologie de schaeffer :.
